The Witch's House
Just because a person looks like a witch, and maybe acts like it too, doesn't mean she is. Or is she.
Bethany's magic potion is hot chocolate, her spell is kindness.
When Eric lands on her doorstep after a streak of bad luck, car dead, phone battery empty, he is merely looking for a phone. He had not expected a meal, cupcakes, and perhaps a few house-ghosts.
Bethany is scared to death for the light she feels in Eric's soul. Afraid that her darkness is too strong for it. But help has to be offered where needed. That's how her grandmother raised her.
Enjoy this four part story I wrote as a CampNaNoWrimo project in 2018.
